BASIC INFO
Server OS: Linux Ubuntu 8.04 i think or somewhere near it
Processor: P4 3Ghz HT
Ram: 1gb
Game(s): TF2
Start Up Command: Looking for something meaningful but here is what i use for now: screen -A -m -d -S tf2-server ./srcds_run -game tf -timeout 30 -autoupdate -debuglog tf2debug.log +map cp_dustbowl +port 27015 +maxplayers 24
Admin Mods: none yet!
My question is simple, is there any init script that actually works fine without requiring a complete overhaul of my setup? I found one but it didn't work fine, the PID files detection was messed up and it wasn't booting properly.
So simply, for now i use the screen version and start it manually (because the server seems to die if no activity occur in a while, can anyone confirm if this is normal?)
So.. thats it
