./steam freezes

Hi, I am setting up my servers again because I have switched from Ubuntu desktop to Ubuntu server and when I go to update the HLDSUpdateTool with

it just says

Checking bootstrapper version ...
Getting version 34 of Steam HLDS Update Tool

and it just stays there. I have left it running for a couple on minutes and it says the same thing. Now I have my servers backed up but i dont want to just upload them because I'm not sure if they are outdated or something. But if this does not update the HLDSUpdate tool I will probably go ahead and just upload my servers anyway, unless someone could help me. Thanks.

LOL, never mind . I guess I was too impatient it's all updated now.
