SRCDS Steam group

ok my idea is, to have srcds running,but when minimized or closed it goes to the notification area just like steam.

notification area is that little part in the bottom right.

and to access the console you just click it

and to exit it you click it then type quit in the console then its gone

is this doable or have been done

There is no built in feature to make this work. You would have to code a piece of software yourself to do this.

its better for me cause i have a habit of closing all my windows when i'm done using the computer

There are some plugins (for windows) to do this. I have NO idea where to find them anymore. They will let you do this for any application...

It's a windows program. It has nothing to do with the server.
