10mbps uncapped or 1.5TB at 100mbps???
#1
I am looking to run 2 32 slot tf2 servers 66 or 100tic on a core2duo 2.5Ghz with 2GB of RAM. Would a 10mpbs uncapped connection handle that or would I be best going for the 1.5 TB with bursts up to 100mpbs? Would I be coming close to my bandwidth limit with 64 total slots? Could my hardware support a third 32 slot server?

Thanks in advance...

If your upload is 10mbit you should be able to hold it.

Team Fortress 2 does not support 100tick. Only 66tick.

Would having the burstable 100mbps give a better game expierence? What would you guys choose in this situation?

10Mbps is best =]

I think 1.5 TB should be enough, even if your servers are quite filled... on the other hand, 10 MBit/s are enough as well :-)

Well one 32slots TF2 server at 66tick is 1.7TB traffic each month, if it's filled 24/7.

Go with the 10mb/s, because bandwidth overage charges are ridic high.
