Server OS: Windows Vista Service pack 1 32 bit
Processor: AMD athlon x2 (1.70 GhZ)
Ram: 4 GB
Game(s): Day of Defeat: Source
Start Up Command: c:\srcds\orangebox\srcds.exe -console -game dod +map dod_donner -maxplayers 24
Admin Mods:None
I was wondering if there is a way with Srcds to give other players admin to change the map or put up a password?? Or do I need to get Mani?

No, I mean so I could give a person the ability to change the map without a vote or give someone the power to set a password on the server if they need one while Im away...

Then use RCon and hand over the password to those you trust.

Do you run the server on the same PC as you play on?

Okay..
First, you'll have to be on the server.

Ok Im having problems, Would it be easier to just run a listen server?? Would that be less laggy when there's 20 people in the server? If it would be. How do you set up a listen server? What ports need fowarded and what console commands do I need besides Sv_lan 0

I would say for 8 players or more, it would be better to run SRCDS. As long as its not on the same computer as you play on.

When ingame, click the Create Server button. The server ends when you close the game.
