{RESOLVED} Could not establish connection to steam servers

i am getting this error

Could not establish connection to steam servers.

I have 2 network interfaces with these 2 startup switches: -port 27011, and +ip 173.11.117.113 (pointing toward the public IP address).

Is there something i am doing wrong? do I need to give more info?

RESOLUTION UPDATE:

I had to make sure that only ONE of my interfaces had a Gateway IP address, or else it would get confused! Also, i have removed the +ip tag.
