New Dedicated Box
#1
I just bought a new dedicated box and would like to know the best solution.
This is NOT going to be a GSP.

I already own another box that has TCAdmin Control Panel, Do I really need that installed on this box?

Wouldn't it be best, to create a GameServer directory and download the files from HldsUpdateTool.exe????
--fpsbooster
--Server1
--Server2
--Server3
--Server4
Then create .bat files and use those as a service?

Specs
Intel C2Q Q9300 Quad Core - 2.5Ghz, 6MB Cache, 1333FSB
8GB DDR2, 1000Mbps, 2000GB Transfer
500GB SATA-II 16MEG Cache HDD
Win2003 Enterprise(64bit)

I don't know what you're looking for here? You can run 4 servers from one install, yes?

I was asking if I really needed TCAdmin Control Panel...
Like would it be best to directly install each game with HldsUpdateTool.exe, instead of using TCAdmin.

All depends on what you want to do/spend. If you want a control panel to start/stop/reinstall, etc then go with TCAdmin, if you want to stick with RDP, then stick with no control panel.

You can install it once, then copy the files over if you want

the only thing tcadmin is needed for is GSP's and gaming clans with MANY dedicated boxes in which they do not want there division leaders to have access to those boxes. Its just a GUI
