Hello,
I've searched fairly hard for this issue, but can't seem to find anyone else having a similar problem.
I've downloaded and installed SRCDS (including some mods) and run a few servers. However, I can't seem to change the tickrate, even though I put it in the command line startup for each server (using -tickrate 100). When I log into the server, Mani Admin tells me that the server is running at 33 tick and it seems that the net_graph shows something similar. Some mods (es_tools) seem to just crash when the tickrate is applied in the command line.
I'm hosting on a 2x2.2GHz Opteron machine, with 4GB of RAM and a 100Mbps connection, so it should be able to handle at least 1 12 slot 100tick CS:S server. The OS is Debian 5.0 64-bit :
~$ uname -a
Linux cl-308.***.com 2.6.26-2-amd64 #1 SMP Fri Mar 27 04:02:59 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
