HELLO SRCDS.COM

I'm starting to write a Super Guide to using srcds. While there are many guides on how to set up a SRCDS server, a majority of them are out-of-date or only based on CSS. This Super Guide is aimed to fully explain how to install a server (on windows) no matter what game.

However, I NEED YOUR HELP! Smile
I don't have access at this time to a server and I haven't installed a DOD:S and GMod server (and others) in a while. I'm going to be asking random, simple questions in this thread. I will also be making requests for screen shots and more.

Everyone in the community is encouraged to help. Everyone will of course be credited.

I'm starting in a week or so.
I don't know linux... so afterward someone might want to port it over to linux.

Just an FYI (again):
My final capstone project which has been 300% running my life has officially ended. My group passed with flying colors (best report the Prof has ever seen in his life). So now I have one MINOR thing to finish and I'll start-a-crackin' on this!

Maybe we could all just work on the SRCDS.org WIki. I would love to contribute, but I am not familiar with the use of Wiki's.

if srcds is no longer a live we freaking need to get sirtiger on for a long enough time to give drocona the site stuff because then all you need is a subdomain being.. wiki.srcds.com i have planned so much stuff out for this site but sirtiger is on enough to reply to me or to even have drocona talk to him!
