I just installed a server on my computer and started it up and it says connection to steam servers successful vac secured..but it does not show up on steam master server list. I think I forwarded the right ports on my router and turne doff my anti virus firewall.
Any suggestions? Thank you

You will NOT see the server on the internet list if it's already on your LAN.
Others should be able to see it.
Can you connect via your external IP?

do you have
sv_lan 0
on your server.cfg?

TCP ports 27020-27039
UDP port 1200
UDP ports 27000-27015
also make sure you are forwarding to the correct internal ip such as
192.168.0.2
u can type in your server when u boot it up status. and check what it is. i may be
192.168.0.100
192.168.0.5
192.168.0.3
so on..

hmm nope doesn't show up. and you are sure you forwarded the ports to the correct internal IP?

try removing -port 27015 since its defaulted at 27015
so it will be
C:\HL2DS\orangebox\srcds.exe -game empires +maxplayers 14 -console +map emp_canyon -autoupdate
