We are running a Fedora Core 3 Linux server. Dual 2.4 Ghtz Xeon Processors, 1GB RAM, 120 GB HD, 100MB NEtowrk port, 100 Tick Rate..... We are running 40man pub and two 14 player private servers.
The server runs fine until we get 20+ players and then it starts to skip until there are less than 20 alive players. Everyone is getting the skip, I dont call it lag because the Server resources are low in range (35% CPU, half a gig of memory), and pings remain the same, the server just slows the speed up to normal every other second.
From what I have read this server should be able to host 30 players easy so I am not sure why it is doing this.
