external ip keep changing..

after several days it will change... and it keeps going on like that..
and do i have to open my server for few hours in order for it to appear in the internet tab?

well i guess you have a dynamic ip. SO do i, so annoying have to restart servers everyday to get them back on steamlist

you can try changing your settings to static on your router but it may fuck your connection up

.... at least you wont get ip banned from anywhere

What you might use is a service such as DynDNS to set a hostname to your IP. It will change the destination IP to your changing IP as it changes. Unfortunately, it will be hard if people want to save your server to favorites.

Try contacting your ISP to receive a Static IP.
