Hello guys,
I've gotten a fresh dedicated server today with Win2k8 64-bit. One thing that I've noticed that's unfortunate is that fps_max 300 (even when used on the startup line with a plus in front of it) has no bearing. According to the top bar of the server window it's running at 64 FPS. I'm not sure if '-tickrate 66' is having any effect either as when I'm in the server the net graph shows on the right hand side two figures that are at 30 even though the client computer's cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate are above 30 (both at 66) and the cl_max settings for each command on the server are above 30. Also, the startup line for this server was taken from a tried and tested startup line that has been working on my other gmod box for a while now.
Can someone please provide me with some words of wisdom on the matter? I don't think I'm the only one using a 64 bit operating system with hosting GMod. At present it is not feasible to have a 32 bit operating system installed.
Thank you for any assistance provided.
