I was wondering if I have fps_max 300 in command line but i place fps_max 1000 in server.cfg would the greater overwrite the 300. or will the 300 fps remain since its in command line?

Well the last executed fps_max is the one there will be used.

So if I wrote fps_max 500 in the start of my server.cfg and then in the end I wrote fps_max 256, it will use the fps_max 256. Smile

Lol, you have a linux hosted game server? and you want to "illegaly" ( in some ToS') change it to 1000fps? Jk, yes srcds will always use the last ran command, so it can be -tickrate 10 -tickrate 10 -tickrate 10 -tickrate 10 -tickrate 100 and the tickrate will be 100
