I was wondering what would have better performance for maybe a 33 tick 18 slot server, a amd 64 3200 2ghz and 1gb of ram or a dual pentium 3 1ghz cpu with 1gb of ram?

SRCDS doesn't support multiple cores.
Go with the AMD.

but wouldnt the load equally distribute among the 2 cores? or would the load just be better on the amd processor
The amd CPU is better because of its higher clock and it's newer tech. Other than that not much of a difference
