D-LINK PORT FORWARDING
#16
Thanks guys! I don't have blob version thingy and pricing errors anymore!
Are those "couldn't exec banned_user cfg/banned_ip.cfg" supposed to be there by the way? If not what should I do for 'em?

The couldn't exec banned_user cfg/banned_ip.cfg - can be moved by creating a banned_user.cfg. In insite your srcds/cfg folder Smile

So yeah... I'm about to take a new look on port forwarding with my D-Link DI-624+ router.
Here is where I assume to forward the ports:

Could somebody please tell me what should I exactly fill in here. I'm pretty sure how to do it but not 100%. Especially I'm not sure what to fill in "Public port."

People say that all of these port should be fowarded:
UDP 1200 (Friends Network)
UDP 27000 to 27015 (Gameport)
UDP 27020
TCP 27030 to 27039
TCP 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)

But does it really work if I only type once that thing in you told me. :o
And this really is the right place to foward the ports correctly?

I changed it to way you guys told me to and I did a port check on Canyouseeme.org;
Code:
Success: I can see your service on 86.60.195.55 on port (27015)
Your ISP is not blocking port 27015

I assume that it should be working fine now but... MANY of my friends still can't see the server. So if you can tell me what I could do or what my friends could do to make it work, I would be so thankful!

Make sure they are defiantly connecting to your external IP. Remember when you enter the server from your house, you will connect via your local IP, so if they try to join off you on Steam friends, it will not work.

Thanks man, I think this solved my problem lol.

But does anybody know is there any good way to make it lag less if I'm playing on the same computer where I'm hosting the server? Or does it help at all if I host the server from different computer (which would only host server, none other process or playing) which isn't as good as this computer. It would be like 1.8Ghz-2.0Ghz processor and only 1000-1500 mega RAM
