What permission level allows you to delete files from an ftp. Right now the entire folder and sub directories are ch mod 777 -R but when i try to delete a file from ftp it says
Command: STOR server.cfg
Response: 553 You can not upload that type of file
Error: Critical error
and
Command: DELE server.cfg
Response: 550 You can not delete that type of file
Any thoughts?

Thats a strange one. 777 is full read/write/execute permissions. Its more likely that the FTP servers settings restrict changing files with a .cfg extension, is this your game server in question?

Check your ftpd config - the VSFTPD config has a flag that disallows all writing of files. It's enabled by default.

You will be happy with Swift Panel, great GSP for the price. Will the owner answers your tickets quite fast as well. I have nothing bad to say about them.
