I want to share my experience and also learn how others prepared for the Salesforce Certified Platform User Experience Designer exam. I have been studying different Salesforce certifications for a while. During my research, I came across an informational post about Latest Salesforce certification exam changes. I will share that article link here. It had several helpful resources for exam preparation. One of the resources mentioned in that article was Pass4Future. It provides Salesforce certification exam questions for multiple salesforce certifications, including Plat-UX-Con-101 certification exam. I found this resource very useful for practice. The questions helped me understand the exam pattern and the type of scenario-based questions that are often asked. They also helped me identify my weak areas.
I used Pass4Future Plat-UX-Con-101 questions along with Trailhead modules. This combination worked well for me. I practiced user research, accessibility principles, and the Salesforce Lightning Design System. These are core parts of the UX Designer exam. The Plat-UX-Con-101 practice questions gave me confidence and improved my speed during mock tests. Besides this, I also went through the Salesforce documentation on design tokens, Lightning components, and accessibility guidelines. Trailhead trails like UX Designer Certification Prep and Design Thinking Basics helped me strengthen the conceptual areas. I also watched a few sessions by Salesforce UX designers to understand how these concepts apply in real-world projects.
Now I am preparing for my final attempt at the exam. I am focusing more on scenario-based practice and revising design principles. I believe consistency and a mix of official and practical learning sources are key to success in this certification. I am curious to know how others are preparing for the Plat-UX-Con-101 exam. Which topics did you find most difficult? How do you approach Plat-UX-Con-101 scenario-based questions? Did you use any other practice resources that helped you?
