Setting maxplayers in CS:GO

Lately I've been trying to get back into managing my own game servers, and learning all the new tools/methods that are used to get things done (i.e. steamCMD). for older games such as CSS and TF2 I've had no problem setting them up again. I figured i would try something new; since a group of my friends picked up cs:go I decided to make our own server.

Here's where the problem starts:

I just can't seem to get the maxplayers command to work. I've tried "-maxplayers_overide" with no luck and i have yet to figure out how to work the damn "gamemodes_server.txt" file.


It seems like it's been forever since i last posted on the forums, but i figured if anyone could help me with my problem they would be on here.

It's soo simple.
Your commandline should look like this:
"-game csgo -console -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 -autoupdate -maxplayers_override MAX_PLAYERS_GOES_HERE +map de_dust2 -autoupdate"
I'll hope that was it and you can continue your work.
