Start over. Delete C:\srcds
This time install HLupdatetool in C:\hlupdate
Then make a new FOLDER on your C drive called "CSSserver"
Then do this:
If you still get that error, try a few times... sometimes it just happens.
Also: Do you have full admin to the computer you are installing on?
