How do you change gravity in certain maps?

If I remember right, create a folder named 'maps' to your cstrike/cfg folder. Then create a config file called 'mapname.cfg' (where the mapname is the map's name you want to have custom settings) then edit the 'mapname.cfg' and add your custom settings to it.

As I said, I don't remember it right

Can anybody confirm if this is the right way to do this?
