Before talking about processors, I would strongly look at the bandwidth side, what can you supply as upload and download? And Backbone Internet provider. As an example, think that if you have 10 players at the same time, each player will suck up at least an average of 10 to 12 Kb/s output and 5 to 7 Kb/s inpout on the server side. This is only for the current Counter-Strike Source; we are not even talking about CSGO! We haven't seen the spec for that game yet.
Just something to take in consideration
Well I would be renting a dedicated server from a company. I assume like most dedis, it will be a 100mb port connection from the data centre. If this is what you are trying to ask.
