hey Guy's i am kinda New To srcds And Downloaded Steam Dedi and a basic user get about 50-120 Fps but 140 Avrage ping. I on the other hand get 26ping 51Fps Cause im hosting it. My server say 33tic anyway i can get it 100 or mabey 66tic.

Iknow there is "Probley alot of post like this but if someone can tell me what i can do to help lower Ping of server and get it to 100Tic or 66tic i will <3 you. Runing Windows Vista 32bit. BroadBand. With Modem Direct Connect With eternet cable. Sorry For Spelling. And A lagg Spick here and there not every 20sec barley any. Thanks Who every can help me
Without me being a server admin guru, I would recommend from the top of my head, not to use vista as os, when running a dedi server, when using windows, either use windows 2000 or better yet windows 2003, but i'm sure a more experienced admin will give you a better answer.
Ok.. And I did Something also by mistakei think I restated My computer. And when i open my dedi i see my local ip So nobody can join and in the main list of css i hit server info an i also see lan and i made sure its on internet??? Can some one help
Refer to this guide for help since your new to srcds... slots are you running on your server? I would recommend using 66 tick since most servers use that tick.
