help server wont go online

help server wont go online

I have downloaded the update tool for the dedicated server and got it working but when anyone tries to join all they get is server not responding.
I have forwarded the ports on my router and my firewall and checked that these ports are open with a port checking website which states that the ports are open.
  I can join the server my self but it doesn't arear in my favorites or internet list.

you have to make sure that when you did the port forwarding you used the router ip and not the ip of the computer it should show up there

What do you mean by using the router ip and not the ip of the computer? Arent you supposed to use a static ip?
