my ma_give command isnt working right is there a specal way to do this

Here's the syntax:
ma_give <player name | partial name | user id | steam id> <weapon_name>

I use es_give which is a command included in the Eventscripts plugin's library found at:
http://mattie.info/cs/

The es_give command has almost identical syntax as mani's ma_give command.
