FreeBSD + Server = No
I used to run a CS and DoD server on my FreeBSD server.. I recently put the DoD Server back up and now It has a serious problem, I'm guessing one of the updates tottaly screwed us FreeBSD people over.

Heres the error
dods@abc$ ./srcds_run -console -game dod +map dod_omaha_v2 -maxplayers 32 -auto                                                                              pdate

I hope someone figured this one out
wow, i dont really know how to mess with a file system, could anyone here do that for me if i throw them root? I already messed with linux base once, that was a pain
I'm sorry to say but the latest updates won't work on the latest linux base Wink
What I'd try first:
1) Try to completely reinstall and recompile steam and css or dods
2) Remove your current version of linux base and install an older one Smile

Good luck Wink
recompile steam or css? You don't compile anything, and you won't need to reinstall. all you're doing is just mounting nothing more, its not hard to do what that forum thread said.

starting 9/24/2006 if your problem has been solved please edit your first post and add [solved] to the begining of the title. Thanks.
first, you need the source (code) to compile and i don't think valve is gonna give it up to you so option 1 is out. Big Grin
