Hey I was just wondering if there are any dangers in hosting a Counter Strike Source Dedicated Server on Windows. ie: someone hacking my computer or viewing personal files or information, etc.

Well, there used to be exploits in hlds where your server could be used is a Distributed Denial of Service attack. But I think thats been fixed and haven't heard anything in srcds. So im going to say no.

So, nobody can take my IP address and view my personal info?

Not if you have a decent firewall on the server, only allow traffic on ports the games need and for your administration (best is to block all administration ports for unknown ip's).

Shouldn't be any large issues. As long as you have a decent firewall and proper access configs.
