Server Launch Errors With HL2MP
I have two problems. First, when I launch HL2MP using "srcds.exe -console -game hl2mp +maxplayers 18 -port 27017 +map dm_overwatch", I receive a bunch of errors.

(I've deleted a bunch of the errors as not to fill the screen.)

I also have one other problem. I have a custom map. When I put it on the server it does not show the dunebuggies. However, if I rename the map and reconnect to the server as to download it again, I can play the downloaded map locally with the dunebuggies.

I've deleted and reinstalled HL2MP on two different servers and the problem arises on both. Is there an issue with the install command

hldsupdatetool -command update -game "hl2mp" -dir d:\srcds
try running the updatetool again with "-verify_all" and see if it fixes anything.. Other then that, them errors may be normal? I know sometimes css will output some errors, usually not that many. But if the same has happened on 2 completly different installs, there may just be problems with hl2mp srcds.

Can you join the server? and does everything seem to work alright?

The second question I had was that of custom maps. My friend created a map the runs fine locally using Steam. He hosted a server run from his Steam so we could test it. It ran fine. I uploaded the map to the srcds server and some materials (dune buggies) do not come out. Yet, when I rename the map on the server and then redownload the map locally, it runs with the dune buggies just fine.

Any idea? Is there a differenced with running it off your Steam install vs. the dedicated server download install?
There shouldn't be any difference as far as thats concernd. Just as long as the folder structure, with all the right files, including materials, and everything.
