Why source tv relays are laggy with only 16 snapshotrate , instead of 24 or 33?
I was watching an esl match from source tv today , and I noticed that the broadcast was laggy , because of low snapshotrate (low updaterate on source tv) . 16 was the maximum value.

Why this happen ? Is it a relay-based problem? ( I know all the match servers , use tv relay for the clients to join and watch the games ).

Because when there are a lot of spectators like in huge matches (mTw VS. Team VeryGames f.ex) thousands of people join, with 16 in snapshotrate then it will lag, because some weird reason. Could be because the hoster does not have enough bandwidth. Higher updates per second, less lag, easy as that.
