Cant run srcds.exe!

Whenver i try it by double clicking it says access denied and whenever i try it through run with the console parameters it says its not a valid win32 application.
Im running windows 2000 advanced server 600mhx 256 mb ram any ideas? thanks

This might be a stupid question but did you download the windows version of srcds and not the linux version??

Well i think so, not sure (I'm just the middle man its a pc somewhere else) I'll check and get back to you. Probably the stupid little mistake lol

Did you make sure you installed it into a folder you have permissions for?
