Hi

im really new to this forum...
i,ve been hosting servers for some time but have problems with thats its unstable.
currently i host on a 2.4 ghz p4 with 512 mb and i can set in 512 more when i have time...
the operation system is Windows server standar 2k3...
the server is runing one CSS:GG 24 slot and CSS:ZM 32 slot...
what i need help with is what kind of operating system... im thinking of linux, ubuntu more specific... i have heard that linux srcds servers self-restard when they crash, and basicly runs more stable... is this true?

looks like you need a more powerful machine. is this server at your home, or is it at a datacenter somewhere? What's your transfer rate?

its my server... its tree fett from me now...
and i have a half pc thats very powerful but the cpu is at the store and i fight with them about a new one...
transfer rate... are u mening internett connection? in that case its 25mbit down and 15 mbit up
Btw... what is the best Srcds linux distro? is ubuntu good?
and is it so that the autorestart on crash?
