README FIRST: Notes on when you post an error

Please search through google, if you can't find the answer to your problem, then use the search these forums first.
If you still do not find your answer then post on here. Please be specific on your post.
when you post please include the following:

1. Show your command line If it crashes upon start up when show that as well.

2. Please include debug.log (to get debug.log you need gdb installed and 0debug in your command line)

3.What distro are you running?

4. Whats your gcc version?

Code:
gcc --version

5. What version of glibc are you running?

Code:
ldd --version

6. What kernel version are you running? (IIRC you should run

Code:
uname -v

if it doens't print out like 2.6.10 then give out

Code:
uname -a

7. What hard ware are you using? please be specific on this. You should know your own hardware whether its in your house or located in another datacenter.

8. You may also include the error if you happen to catch it on console.
You do not have to number them or show each in the order i have given but this WILL help US help YOU.

I may have left some things out, if i have someone please include them and i'll edit. Mods should also sticky this. It should be a rule that if this isn't followed it doesn't get answered, i know it sounds mean and cruel, but this will help those who can help you out. And if you actually search you can find your answers ALOT quicker.

Does srcds.com have an irc channel? =o
