srcds multi thread is in beta test

Dunno if someone knows this allready but valve is testing this beta on some public servers now.
The release should be with HL2: Episode 2 and also effects clients.

VALVe does accidently break stuff with their upgrades tho. Not going off topic tho, u can read more on (and if ur a CSS or DOD:S [player, play there, its great!) "

It's probably a closed beta, which means that only selected partners can use it.

I think some people must be like out of it when they post lol.

I'm assuming that there hasn't been a status update on the mutli-core srcds issue, then?

Nope such release has never happened and probably never will also.
