I am looking to rent a dedicated server in dallas. I am wondering what kind of server I should get and the most reliable/cheapest place to get it from. This is for my Game Server company that will host approx. 10-12 11 Slot 100 Tick Servers.

I am currently looking at a Dual Opteron 1216 from http://www.softlayer.com. The price is $199/month including 2GBs of RAM and 500GBs of harddrive. Running on CentOS 4.

All suggestions are welcome as I am trying to make this company the best I can.

I'm afraid you won't be able to run 12 servers at 1 machine, you really need 2 at least, especially for 100tick servers.

I'm not that good with big servers, I don't have the experience, I hope someone else can give you a better estimate than me.
