Not sure if valve have implemented another method of retrieving the master server list lately - but according to Alfred over at the mailing lists, the master server retrieves IPs around your own external IP range.

So if you have an 80.x.x.x external IP, you will see servers with an IP close to that before any others.

It could be ports, it could just take time to show on the list..

Thanks muppet, lets hope it shows up soon, not showing up for anyone, unless you add to favs or connect directly.

Still not showing up, I even wait about 3 minutes for the whole list of over 1,000 to come up, where it does start to display ones outside my "ip range"

Adding master server 72.165.61.189:27011
Adding master server 72.165.61.190:27011
L 06/08/2007 - 19:31:55: World triggered "Round_Start"
Connection to Steam servers successful.

But its not in the list.

Cant be a firewall if it successfully connects to steam servers.

Is this a rented server or a home run server?

This may not help but a quick look through:

Just something similar to your problem.

Try specifying your explicit external IP and port in the command line of starting srcds using the +ip (or is it -ip now?) and -port switches. I'm pretty sure I've had these problems before.
