I need a 478 Socket HT supported

i just updated my ram/mobo in my p4 1.7 to a p4 3.0ghz and my mobo caught on fire Sad i tested all the hardware its fine just mobo is shagged. anyone got a p4 478 hyperthreading supported (not gonna use it) ddr and sata if no sata i'll live Big Grin

the mobo fryed on changing my ram.. like wtf...

can admin move this to the right place.. i just saw it after i posted. soz Sad

Never touched an intel cept when i made a server using a pentium-M chip. But that board is in constant use. Check newegg or tiger direct. Pricewatch.com is a good place for cheap prices.

[Moved to server resources, thought about moving it to hardware but its still SRCDS related i suppose if its for a server.]

I don't know wher eyou live but you can't get them here in Holland anymore...

I know this was posted a while back, but if anyone can find one and is still looking for a 478 board.. get a the Asus P4C800. Fastest 478 board ever made.

I am still running mine OC's to 3.6GHz. Stable and amazingly fast for the 478 series.
