fast forward in cs 1.6?

Not strictly a srcds question:

I have 3x 1.6 servers on a box, all from the exact same install with metamod and amxmodx default installs. Two of the servers seem to run in fast forward, the time is very fast and reloading is fast, movement is jerky. Other game servers on the machine are fine.

Any ideas?

Are you by any chance using sys_ticrate of over 1000? AND pingboost 3?

I found this in the hlds mailing list (note you'll need to subscribe to the linux list

Are you starting them all at the same time, maybe try diffrent ports for each. I'm not sure what to do with that.

no, different ip's are assigned. The problem goes away when the machine is rebooted but then comes back. All device drivers are installed.

Every hour or so the timing seems to go off by approx double. 1 second of real time = 2 seconds of game time

Very strange. On the verge of reinstalling windows.
