Yup, figured that too, so I updated the OP

Help me i just made a server and when i join it it says "couldn't allocate any server ip port"
and its doing it for any server too

remove the -ip command in your commandline.

I am trying to setup a dedicated server and everything appears to have worked fine.

But its a lan server server. The IP is my local IP. How do I assign my external IP to the server?

I have tried insertin -ip XXXXXXx into the batch file but that resorts in the server not launching stating could not associate IP or something.

Try doing this in cmd box without inserting -ip XXXXXXx
lan 0

put that and it might do something if it doesnt work try being admin in server and open consol an type the same thing : lan 0 hope it works
