RE: Internet speed
If it is on LAN, the internet speed wouldn't matter? Then the hardware of the computers would matter?

RE: Internet speed
Because the lan is the Intranet, while you connecting to the outside world and everyone else is the internet. We need to know the speed of your INTERNET to tell you.

RE: Internet speed
You are not making any sense. Are you saying you have multiple machines hosting 120 players each? One machine hosting? Why do you mention the LAN? Are you hosting LAN only games? We need the hardware specs too.

RE: Internet speed
pretty simple to find out: connect to the server you want to play on and type net_graph 3 in the console. in the netgraph you see how much data is send and received. make sure the server is full (number of players make some difference) and a real game is going on (movements, shots etc. are making also differences). also make sure to pick the *maximum*, so better have someone else looking at your net_graph while you are in the middle of a battle.
then you get the numbers for one single player. beware you will get lags way before your internet connection is at full load. better calculate only with half the available bandwidth to be sure.

This still does not make much sense as to describing what you want to do.
By 1 and 2, a grand total of 7 computers on the LAN.
Are you intending to run a LAN party, specifically to game together?
It seems like, if your #1 and #2 are right, then you will HOST games (4 servers) on LAN and have people play on the internet?
If this is from home, then big PHAT chance...hosting on 4 servers. However, I don't think ANYONE here still knows your setup and purpose is still.

all the commputers will be connected to the same net but they will host to the net (not lan) when i said 4 server i meant 4 game servers at all on 3 commputers..
at all 120 slots - about 30 slot's for each TF2 game server..
how much intenet upload speed will you suggest??

RE: Internet speed
Ok, I can't recall where I found this, but a FULL 24 slot TF2 server is said to use 1-3 Mbit. So going on the high end, 4*3 = 12 Mbit.
I'm too lazy to calculate using assumed rates and crap, so don't use this as hard fact.
